AI video camera moves that make clips look professional

Camera language is the fastest way to make an AI video look directed instead of random. AIVidGen lets you add moves, shot sizes, angles and lenses with a tap, and writes them into your prompt for you.

Camera movement

Push in. The camera moves slowly toward the subject. It builds focus and emotion and suits reveals and portraits.

Pull out. The camera moves back to reveal the wider scene, great for endings and scale.

Pan and tilt. The camera turns left, right or up from one spot. A tilt up is a classic way to reveal a building or a mountain.

Orbit. The camera circles the subject. Perfect for products, heroes and dramatic moments.

Crane up. The camera rises smoothly, often ending high above the scene.

Tracking shot. The camera follows a moving subject, such as a runner or a car.

Handheld. Natural, slightly shaky movement for a documentary or vlog feel.

Drone and FPV dive. Aerial movement. A drone glides; an FPV dive swoops fast and close.

Shot size, angle and lens

Shot size sets how much you see: an extreme close-up shows a detail, a close-up a face, a medium shot the upper body, a wide shot the whole scene and an establishing shot the location.

Angle changes the feeling: eye level is neutral, a low angle makes a subject powerful, a high angle makes it small, top-down is graphic, a Dutch angle feels uneasy and over-the-shoulder suits conversations.

Lens shapes depth: 24mm is wide and dramatic, 35mm is natural, 50mm is classic, 85mm flatters portraits with creamy bokeh, macro shows tiny detail, anamorphic adds cinematic flares, shallow focus separates the subject and slow motion stretches a moment.

Combining camera options

The Camera panel has four groups: movement, shot size, angle and lens. You can pick one from each group, or leave any of them on Auto. A strong combination tells a small story, for example a low-angle crane up with a 24mm lens makes a building feel huge, while a close-up push in with an 85mm lens makes a face feel intimate.

Avoid contradictions. A top-down angle with a tracking shot, or an extreme close-up with a drone move, confuses the model. If a result looks chaotic, remove one option and generate again.

Camera choices work with every style. A slow orbit in Claymation, a handheld shot in Vintage film or a drone shot in Ghibli style all give very different moods.

Start simple: one movement plus one shot size. Add an angle or lens only when you know what feeling you want.

How to do it in AIVidGen

  1. In the Create screen, open Camera.
  2. Pick one movement, then a shot size, an angle and a lens if you want.
  3. Leave any group on Auto to let the AI decide.
  4. Generate. The choices are added to your prompt in clear camera language.

Example prompts to copy

These prompts pair a subject with one camera move. Choose the matching move in the Camera panel or keep it in the text.

Slow push in on an old fisherman's face at dawn, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field

Orbit around a luxury watch on black glass, light sweeping across the metal, macro

Crane up from a busy street market to reveal the city skyline at sunset

FPV drone dive down a waterfall into a green canyon, fast and smooth

Rules of thumb

  • One move per clip. Five to ten seconds is not long enough for three moves.
  • Match the move to the mood: slow for calm and emotional, fast for action.
  • Wide lenses exaggerate speed; long lenses compress and calm.
  • Use slow motion for water, hair, fabric and particles.
